About LatinFest

Our passion for Latin dancing blossomed at different stages in our lives, each of us experiencing periods filled with dancing and times when dance took a backseat. Settling in the picturesque town of Port Macquarie, we felt a gap in our vibrant community.

Having attended many dance festivals in major cities, we know the joy of learning from top instructors, watching captivating performances, and dancing to live bands. However, we recognize that not everyone can access these experiences due to costs and other life commitments.

Our mission is to bring the magic of Latin dance festivals to Port Macquarie, making it accessible and enjoyable for everyone in our community.

Responsible Service of Alcohol laws apply, and children under 18 must have a parent or guardian with them at all times when on the Panthers Port Macquarie premises. Children under the age of 18 are allowed on the premise until 10pm each night.

Is LatinFest an over 18s event?

The full 3 day LatinFest event is family friendly and open to all ages! Responsible Service of Alcohol laws apply and children under 18 must be accompanied at all times by an adult when on the Panthers Port Macquarie premises. Children under the age of 18 are allowed in the premise until 10pm each night.

Is alcohol served during the event?

Yes, alcohol is available for purchase during the party events on Friday night, Saturday, & Sunday beach party. Purchase and consumption of alcohol is in accordance with the rules and regulations of the venues supplying alcohol. There is no BYO or option to bring your own alcohol to any LatinFest event.

Do ticket prices include food & drinks?

Food & drinks can be purchased in addition to the ticket price at the venues.

Is there a dress code for the venue?

Yes, please ensure you adhere to the venue policy here.

I will be travelling to Port Macquarie for the vr LatinFest, which day should I attend?

We suggest purchasing an Early Bird ticket which gives you discounted access to all LatinFest workshops, performances and parties. This means you can pick and choose what to attend over the course of the weekend!

I'm a professional Latin dance performer/instructor, do you offer a discount?

We offer a discount code for those performing at LatinFest, but we recommend our Early Bird tickets to professionals who would like to attend the full event. You can also contact our event organisers at hello@latinfest.com.au to enquire about opportunities to lead a workshop or performance, or to promote your school.
